Behind the Song:
This is a song Ruach haKodesh gave me after coming home from an Alaskan cruise with Dallas Holm, Michael Card, Don Francisco, and Scott Wesley Brown. We had been studying the Gospel of Mark that week, and previously I had been reading about the foundation of the Hebrew calendar on the relationship between solar and lunar cycles. The author of the website I was reading observed how our lives as believers are parallel to that of the lunar phase. In the beginning of its cycle, the moon is quite small, but grows larger and able to reflect more of the sunlight as it grows. In a similar way, as we walk with Yahshua, we grow and are able to reflect more and more of His light to others.
